For a number of years, a strange agglomeration of characters stood on my desk, including the Fifth, Sixth and Tenth Doctors, Chun-Li, The Green Ranger and The Golden Age Flash.  Aside from V.I.N. Cent from ‘The Black Hole’ (who always sits on the top of my keyboard) The Flash always held the place of greatest honor, standing proudly in the front as a sort of LEGO Minifigure president.  Of course, if minifigs existed of Bouncing Boy or The Mimic of the X-Men, they might end up deposing Mr. Garrick, but at least he’ll lead us to today’s Always Capitalized query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would also love Super Sentai LEGO, but that seems highly unlikely, asking: What LEGO Minifigure would you keep in the place of greatest honor?

Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center. Were it a mall, he'd be the Food Court. Were it a parking lot, he’d be the distant Cart Corral where the weird kids gather to smoke, but that’s not important right now... Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.
