Recently, I was amused to find a meme that read “The older I get, the more I identify with Red Foreman.”  Indeed, the antics of the Point Place teens, once entertaining, are more and more annoying with each passing year, and I agree with MSP co-host Ashley, who says that the real measure of age is feeling more kinship with Benny than with the bohemian heroes of ‘Rent.’  Indeed, it’s the kind of thing that could launch today’s revolutionary, evolutionary query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) isn’t quite to the point where I identify with Rusty Venture, but I can say that I’m starting to empathize with his plight, asking: What pop-culture characters do you find yourself identifying with more as your perspective changes?
