Pathfinder has a comic book series, and so does Dungeons and Dragons, so it comes as no surprise that new Warhammer comics will find their way to comic shops soon-ish. Games Workshop and Marvel are teaming up for new Warhammer stories.

“I can’t tell you how excited we are about diving into the depths of the expansive universes of Warhammer,” said Marvel Editor Mark Basso in a press release from the comic publisher. “At Marvel, we’re no strangers to telling deeply character-focused tales set in an interconnected world of stories, and fans are going to love what we’re already starting to cook up with the Games Workshop team for the Warhammer comics.”

Previous to this announcement, Warhammer comics were published by Titan Comics, but that license expired and was not renewed in December of 2018.

Marvel has not announced any additional details on titles, creators, and the like, but I expect we will hear more before the end of this year.
