So, the ‘Heroes In Crisis’ miniseries is complete and the murderer at Sanctuary has been revealed as Wally West, The Flash, having been traumatized by losing his family.  On the one hand, Wally didn’t *intend* to hurt anyone when he lost control of the Speed Force, causing the deaths of a bunch of characters that I honestly don’t fully remember and don’t think you will after I remind you.  On the other, it wasn’t a particularly well-done or sensitive story, in my opinion.  (Mileage, as always, may vary.)  I’m glad to see our 90s Flash back in action after being retconned away, but I’m not entirely sure that this is better than the nonexistence of limbo, leading to today’s conflicted query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would probably choose either “trepidatious” or “distrustful” as my answer, asking: In a single word, how do you feel about the recent developments around Flash Wally West?

Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.
