There’s a REALLY stupid Wolverine issue circa ‘Civil War’ during which he is completely boiled away, leaving only a skeleton that re-grew a body in seconds, thanks to a combination of bad writing and one upmanship.  As for Deadpool, his endlessly regenerating body has made for some really funny moments that are equally ridiculous from a biological perspective.  But the question of whether Wolverine or Deadpool has the strongest healing factor is a complex one, consisting of decades of comic and cartoon stories, leading to today’s x-factor query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) reminds nay-sayers that Deadpool’s severed body parts were able to refuse and reanimate as a separate creature made of limbs, asking: Whose healing factor reigns supreme: Wolverine or Deadpool?

Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.
