It’s the time of the season for scary movies, as everyone gets in on the ol’ Halloweenie spirit.  On the one hand, it’s great to find things like ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ and ‘Carrie’ popping up on regular cable channels without having to stream them or seek them out, but…  Actually, there’s no real downside to a scary movie.  I remember watching ‘Phantasm’ with my cousin Elwood when I was waaaay too young and introducing my daughter to ‘Night Of The Living Dead’ when she insisted she wanted to see it, leading to today’s suspenseful query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would even say to leave aside matters of quality and go for sheer terror, allowing me to pick ‘Unfriended’, asking: What’s your favorite scary movie, Sidney Faithful Spoilerite?
