We’ve already seen Aquaman and Wonder Woman in Justice League and Wonder Woman, but the one movie everyone is looking at under a microscope right now is Shazam! Hall H attendees at the San Diego Comic Con got their first look at the trailer, and we are sharing it with you (if you haven’t already seen it).

You can definitely feel a Goeff Johns vibe to this story, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing – in fact, if you have seen the appearance of Shazam in the WB Animated movies, a lot of what we see in the trailer above is there.

Now for the part of the trailer I’m most nervous about – I’ve seen a couple BTS moments that look to be directly inspired by BIG, the Tom Hanks movie from the ’80s. And while a man-child is an interesting story of wish fulfilment gone wrong, the child needs to eventually grow up. Thankfully, what I’ve seen in the trailer seems to move those fears out of my head, and I’m more than ready to plop down my money and watch Shazam! when it arrives in theaters in April 2019.
