Jared Leto’s Joker Is Getting His Own Movie (EXCLUSIVE)

Warner Bros. is looking to expand on Jared Leto’s version of the Joker, which debuted in 2016’s ” Suicide Squad,” with a movie of his own. Sources tell Variety that Leto is set to star and exec produce an untitled standalone film, paving the way for future movies branching from ” Suicide Squad.”

    Hands down one of the greatest stories ever told in comics. I love introducing people who don’t read comics to our world with this series. Always leaves them wanting more.

    I don’t think Netflix would pass on this in fear of displacing Stranger Things since it would draw in subscribers. What I am fearing is that it won’t get the best treatment since this is the third place the creators are pitching the idea to.
