Marvel Has Plans for the Reintroduced Ultimate Universe

Fret not, Ultimate Universe fans; Marvel Comics has plans for the newly returned reality! Marvel Comics Senior Vice President Tom Brevoort touched on a return to the Ultimate Universe during the publisher’s ‘Next Big Thing’ C2E2 panel earlier today. After the revelation from Spider-Men II that the Ultimate Universe was still around, Brevoort hinted at potential plans for it.

    How could Matthew forget about The Great Ten and say they haven’t appeared in that book, when they have been central to two different arcs in New Super-Man. They were literally fighting side by side with the Justice League of China during the Suicide Squad crossover. Tsk, tsk.

    Like Matthew I was reading The New Mutants from the beginning. I stuck with the book for a couple years after the artist change but never did really like the art style for most storytelling. Some of the images are great but overall too ‘muddy’ for my taste..
