The worlds of fiction are full of team-ups, pairings and the odd dynamic duo, be they Wolverine and Nightcrawler, Superman and Batman or Meredith Grey and Maggie Pierce.  Sometimes they’re even enemies, like the unusual team of Sarah Lance and Damien Dark on ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.  Still, it is hard to complete with the team of Kamen Rider Stronger and Electro-Wave Human Tackle, which is an actual thing from the Kamen Rider series and not just a random smattering of words I just made up, leading to today’s dual-act query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) could do this one all day, like Hawk and Dove, Cannonball and Sunspot, Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman, and that’s just the superheroes, asking: Which fictional dynamic duo is the most powerful pair of all?

About Author

Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center. Were it a mall, he'd be the Food Court. Were it a parking lot, he’d be the distant Cart Corral where the weird kids gather to smoke, but that’s not important right now... Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.

Hmm, first I thought about something obvious like Galactus & Silver Surfer but then I came up something more original: Ultraman Geed & Ultraman Zero from the 29th series of Ultraman TV show. They fought together and won one of the strongest Ultraman enemies ever, Belial, and Zero, son of Ultra Seven is considered one of the strongest of Ultramen in canon.
