When I was a young man, I had a couple of Evil Knievel stunt-cycles with the wind-up action base, and I remember being suddenly, intently jealous when I discovered that an acquaintance had the full-scale Scramble Van with ramps and motorcycles and, for some reason, lawn furniture. Jealousy isn’t really a natural state for me, and it was even weirder to have it about a toy, but… it was a pretty cool toy. I was equally envious of the kids whose parents could afford the giant G.I. Joe aircraft carrier, and much later, a friend who got to meet and hug then-WWF superstar Chyna. I’m not proud of it, mind you, but it’s a thing that happened and it leads us to today’s green-eyed query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) is also still a little miffed that Stephen got to meet Gail Simone and I didn’t, but don’t tell him, he likes to lord that over me, asking: What things related to our favorite pop culture have filled you with inexplicable jealousy?

Kinda jealous to North American fans for easy access to items for much lower price and plentiful conventions around.
I have a similar jealousy of people in Japan having easy and cheaper access to many things related to some of my favorite things, like Ultraman and Super Sentai collectibles, more video games that are to my liking that unfortunately never get translated (I think you and I both feel that one) and various other things.
