Another real-world celebrity paradox, Copy-Cat seems to be Rat Pack crooner Dean Martin with the ability to clone himself. There are multiple levels to the gag, from “cat” being slang for a man in the Ring-A-Ding vernacular to his actually being an in-universe entertainer to the wonderful spectacle of him putting old-school lothario moves on Dr. Mrs. The Monarch and being shut down cold.  Like all the best Venture Brothers jokes, it is both whip-smart and dumb as hell at once.

And I’m on the record as believing that he’s actually Dean, having somehow faked his demise, which is also my personal theory about Iggy and Klaus Nomi…
