Originally encountered as a pawn of the Secret Empire, the girl called Cloud was a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, deep-fired in batter for tempura…  Wait, that metaphor got away from me.  Still, she was a mystery, first believed to be a lost girl named Carol Faber, then changing gender at will before finally discovering that she is not a mutant, not human at all, but in fact a stellar nebula somehow coalesced into human form.  Still, once upon a time, The Defenders counted among their number a gender-fluid, telepathic living cloud, so that’s fun in and of itself…
