While watching the recent CW four-way crossover madness, I was struck by the absurdity of it all. A team led by Green Arrow, featuring Supergirl as it’s most powerful player, which numbered Vibe, Citizen Steel, Mr. Terrific and Wild Dog (!!) in it’s ranks, still made for amazing TV action. (Some would say even better action than the “Big 7” JLA seen in their recent movie outing.) If you asked me to assemble a group of more unlikely heroes, I’d be hard pressed to do so, and remember, I know who Offramp and Bonfire are. It’s wonderful after years of Batman to have other heroes in the mix, and the fact that Rocket Raccoon is a billion-dollar movie star makes me incredibly happy, leading to today’s stochastic query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) can’t wait for “G’nort!”, prime-time on the CW in 2022, asking: Who are the most unlikely heroes to make their way to live-action fame next?

I’d say Kicker’s, Inc., but then I’d be afraid I was right.
Each time I hear about some Hollywood rumors about how many super hero and/or 80’s sequels and remakes are being planned, (its hundreds) I’m not really surprised by anything anymore. I could probably dig up some non North American obscure character, but would be cheating, so let’s say Power Pack. Its possible, but not probable.
