AIDA (Artificially Intelligent Digital Assistant) is the first LMD (Life Model Decoy) created on Earth-199999 (the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and, as such, is a bit touchy about her robotic nature. In an attempt to gain a human form to go with her fully human emotions and super-computer brain, Aida stole The Darkhold and nearly murdered the Agents of SHIELD, but her motivation was simply to be happy. In fact, her attempt to have a normal life led to her creating a virtual world wherein all her captives were given (what she believed to be) normal lives and happy endings, showing a level of compassion surprising in a machine. It’s kind of a shame she had to die, all she wanted was to be happy and loved…
