In one of several ‘What If?’ worlds where Rhomann Dey didn’t bequeath his Nova centurion powers to Richard Rider, Helen Taylor was traumatized when her husband was murdered by a mugger.  Her acquisition of Xandarian power redoubled Helen’s thirst for vengeance, and she set off on a killing spree, taking down anyone and everyone she deemed evil.  Granted, her Joe Bob totals included The Kingpin and other noteworthy criminals, but she finally had to be neutralized by Reed Richards and exiled into the Negative Zone forever.  Despite her bloodthirstiness, it’s hard to not empathize with Helen’s rage at having a loved taken away by a brutal twist of fate…
