Warner Bros. has released the official title for the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

This morning, Warner Bros. announced Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will arrive in theaters on November 16, 2018 – one year from today.

At the end of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Johnny Depp was revealed to be Gellert Grindelwald, a dark wizard who was captured, and then escaped from the Magical Congress of the United States of America. The title implies Grindelwald will continue is agenda of taking over the world.

David Yates returns to direct, with Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, and Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore. Here is the first look at the entire cast.

I rather enjoyed the first movie, though it did seem to try and tie everything to the Harry Potter series, when it really should have stood on its own. With Dumbledore showing up this time, I hope the story truly finds its legs and stands on its own.
