If you need to build up your body, Onnit has a variety of products that, if used correctly, can improve your health and give you a great workout. The newest addition to the company’s product line are the Spider-Man Battle Ropes – officially licensed from Marvel.

The Spider-Man Battle Rope doesn’t just look cool, it’s the next step in the evolution of fitness ropes. This 1.5-inch diameter, 40-foot long rope is made of a three-strand polypropylene. This high-strength material allows for a stronger, more durable rope that’s perfect for indoor or outdoor rope-slinging.

I don’t have 40 feet of space to use these battle ropes, but they sure look cool, and I see people working out with these all the time, so there has to be something to the rope workout, right?

Yes, these are nothing more than regular ropes with a red-blue color scheme, and a Spider-Man logo on it, but in this day and age where Nerd/Geek Gyms are springing up left and right, this is another tool to get people fit.

The Spider-Man Battle Ropes aren’t the only item in the Onnit/Marvel line of exercise products. Marvel and Onnit have created the Hero Elite series that includes the Spider-Man Battle Ropes, The Iron Man Kettlebell (I need one of these), and the Captain America Shield Barbell Plates.

Want to deck your gym out with some nerd gear that will get you fit, then check out the complete Hero Elite series at Onnit.com/Marvel.
