The 2012 relaunch of Comics’ Greatest World brought us a great many interesting retakes on the most minor CGW heroes, but none is as satisfying as Elvis Westbury becoming the embodiment of the dudebro tough-guy id. Warmaker serves with the Agents Of Change, and the fact that his uniform literally contains a Screaming Eagle WWE championship belt may be the most perfect costume touch ever…

WARMAKER-ONE

The third or fourth government-issue experimental hero on this list (which is pretty coincidental, seeing as it has nothing to do with the category as a whole), Lieutenant Colonel Scott Sawyer became The Human Stealth Fighter after exposure to radioactive isotopes. As the leader of the Ultramarine Corps, he was first seen trying to destroy the JLA, but later worked alongside those heroes to stave off the Final Crisis…
