Calendars are really weird. They mark the days of the week in a really arbitrary manner. Case in point – Sunday. Is it the first day of the week, or the last day of the week?

Sabbath (Saturday) is the seventh day of the week making Sunday the first day.
I voted First Day, because that’s how I was raised, BUT…
…in keeping with comics & pop culture, I’ll point out that it was the end of things for Solomon Grundy (buried on Sunday.)
I used to think of Saturday as the last day of the week, and thus Sunday as the first, but my last day of work each week is now Saturday, making Sunday my new Saturday and thus the last day of my week.
I’m a minister at a church, so Sunday is the biggest day of my week. In some respects, I spend all week building up to Sunday. And then Monday is my day to reset the week and start again.
To me it’s the last day because of my Christian upbringing. I don’t have to get my stuff together with other religions because of diversity.
Sunday is the last day for me. It is called the “weekend” right?
