There are a lot of big ol’ dummies in the world of cartoons. Cobra Commander is utterly ridiculous, utterly clueless and seemingly incapable of succeeding at anything. Megatron, a giant transforming robot who turns into a ridiculously powerful energy weapon, is likewise focused on some of the stupidest plans in the history of villainy. But can even those top-notch dipsticks compare to the most perfect idiot of all? The Shredder, Oroku Saki, is a super-ninja with an army of robots and/or ninjers, an alien buddy who commands a massive battle-station that can also tunnel through the ground undetected, and he still gets whomped by a few amphibians with ancient weapons, leading to today’s disrespectful query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) may have been inspired by the credits of Deadpool today, but you can’t prove anything, asking: What FICTIONAL character do you believe to be the most perfect idiot of all?

After playing a BUNCH of Lego-Batman with my friends last night, I’m gonna go with Solomon Grundy.
– Any villain that obsessively fights a hero rather than go to another city and rule. (See: Joker, Flash’s Rogues Gallery, Sinister Six)
– Any villain that spends obscene levels of money on developing super tech, which they then use to rob a bank for less money than they likely spent on the tech. (See: Doctor Octopus)
– Colonel Klink. I mean, Sgt. Shultz at least kind of knew what Hogan & Co. were doing in Stalag 13 and just chose to know or see “nothink… nothink!” But Klink was just obtuse, and he would have been sent to the Russian front several times over if his outright idiocy hadn’t been so useful that Hogan worked hard to keep him in charge lest someone actually competent be sent in to replace him.
Wile E. Coyote. a classic example of a single-minded villain with seemingly unlimited resources, whose countless, countless failures seem to hinge on the fact that he won’t order his gear from any other company besides Acme.
I was just going to say Wile E. Coyote.
Mojo Jojo
Professor Nimnal. He has all the resources to make his evil inventions and is an alleged super genius, but is constantly thwarted by 4 rodents and a house fly.
