While Iron Fist wasn’t the best of the Marvel Netflix series, it did have a few shining moments that could be developed into something bigger and better. Perhaps that is why the series has been renewed for a second season.

During the Defenders panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Jeph Loeb announced the show would return and hinted Colleen Wing and Misty Knight would team up, giving us a Heroes for Hire type situation (my words, not his).

Season two will see Finn Jones return as Danny Rand, and hopefully we’ll get a bit more information on what happened to K’un-Lun.

At this time there is no word on if Rosario Dawson will return as Claire Temple or whether or not the Meachums would make a return to the show – those that are alive, that is.

With the Defenders arriving in August, the Inhumans in September, it is somewhat frustrating that we don’t know when Daredevil, Luke Cage, or Jessica Jones will debut their next seasons. Heck we don’t even know when Iron Fist Season Two is set to return.

But at least this announcement is better than no announcement, right?
