Trying to keep track of whose classes and species we know at this point. Russel is a human (I think?) monk, Alder is a half-elf sorcerer, Chema is a human inquisitor? Eshen is a lizardfolk barbarian, and the Hanging Judge is a human vigilante. Is that right?

There’s something about the way magic is interacting with real-world history here that I find really poignant… Chema’s discussion with the dryad about being descended from humans who lived in the area before it was either the US or Mexico, and how he supposes not keeping track of these things is “her perogative” but not his, especially gave me all kinds of feelings.

I’m dying to know what Alder’s accent is about. I’m terrible at accents so I can’t really tell what Matthew is going for.

I was looking forward to meeting Eshen’s aunt and more of his people, but now I’m just downright worried about them! I hope they aren’t going to have to kill some of his family and can save them instead. Thanks for the show!
