According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX and Donald Glover are joining forces for an animated Deadpool series, that will be adult oriented.

Glover and his brother Stephen Glover will write, produce, and serve as executive producers for the 10-episode animated series.

“Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit Atlanta,” said FX president of original programming Nick Grad. “With the success of Legion, we’re looking forward to again partnering with Marvel Television to create a series that is bold, striking and entirely original.”

While I doubt the animated Deadpool series will be as adult as the Ryan Reynolds live action movie, I expect the level of violence, humor, and language to ensure the series is run outside of the safe harbor times.
