STEPHEN: Button, the button, who has the button!? Have really enjoyed the series thus far, and like the rest of the DC reading world, I want to know who is pulling the strings.

Is it you?

WAYNE: This miniseries could be the story of the year! If you can find any copies of Batman #21 or Flash #21, I recommend you buy them! Oh, and be sure to read these issues, too!

INJUSTICE 2 #1

And Batman doesn’t have a lot of allies left to help stop them.

WAYNE: I have never played the games, but I love the comics! It’s a great jumping-on place for folks who have been curious about this series, so I recommend it!

JEAN GREY #1

But now, she’s visited by a premonition that the Phoenix is coming for her…and in this new ongoing series by DENNIS HOPELESS (ALL-NEW X-MEN, SPIDER-WOMAN, X-MEN: SEASON ONE) and VICTOR IBANEZ (EXTRAORDINARY X-MEN, STORM), she’s going to fight tooth and nail to escape becoming its next victim!

MATTHEW: If my calculations are correct, she is the last of the X-Men to get their own solo book, so congratulations time-traveling teenage Jean!

PREDATOR HUNTERS #1
Writer: Chris Warner
Artist: Francisco Ruiz Velasco
Publisher: Dark Horse Comics
Cover Price: $3.99
SOLICITATION: Space aliens have been coming to Earth for centuries-but not with any message of brotherhood or peace. They’re here to hunt the toughest, most dangerous humans they can find. Only now their former prey have teamed up against them. Predators, watch your backs!
o Written by Predator comic series veteran Chris Warner!
o Art by Francisco Ruiz Velasco.
o Covers feature special metallic ink!

CHRIS: Dark Horse has always captured my interest with anything they do in the Alien and Predator universe. The last event, Life and Death, that attempted to tie both franchises as well as Prometheus all together in one big story didn’t sit well with me. I’m glad to see that they’re breaking off individually again and will be checking this one out.

SECRET EMPIRE #1
Writer: Nick Spender
Artist: Steve McNiven
Publisher: Marvel
Cover Price: $4.99
SOLICITATION: It’s been building for months, across a bevy of titles! But now, the moment has arrived for Steve Rogers to step into the light and declare his allegiance to Hydra! How can the heroes of the Marvel Universe cope with this shattering betrayal by the most trusted figure among them? And what will this mean for the world? The map of the Marvel Universe changes in ways nobody will expect – TRUST THE SECRET EMPIRE!

CHRIS: I’ve read this and it’ pretty damn good. Don’t believe what people are telling you about Captain America being a Nazi. Anyone who says that clearly hasn’t been reading the Steve Rogers Captain America series. Nick Spencer is sparing no time in ramping things up and I can’t wait to see how this plays out, as well as some of the backlash.

UNDERDOG #1
Writer: Batton Lash
Artist: Batton Lash
Publisher: American Mythology Productions
Cover Price: $3.99
SOLICITATION: There’s no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! American Mythology is proud to bring back another nostalgic kids classic to a brand new audience. Underdog is an incredible animated series that chronicled the adventures of Shoeshine, who when danger was afoot would turn into a powerful superhero! With an incredible rogues’ gallery of villains like Simon Bar Sinister, Cad Lackey, Riff Raff, Battyman, and Overcat on the loose, the world needs Underdog more than ever!

MATTHEW: No apologies here, Faithful Spoilerites. It’s a favorite of my youth, and I’m soooo looking forward to some REAL Underdog, especially given that awful live-action adaptation with Brodie from ‘Mallrats.’
