Announced during a panel at C2E2, Tim Seeley and Mike Norton’s creator-owned series, Revival has been optioned for a live-action movie. During the panel, a proof of concept trailer was shown, and now it is online.

For one day in rural central Wisconsin, the dead come back to life. Now it’s up to Officer Dana Cypress to find the murderer of her undead sister and maintain order in a town separated by ideological differences.

So now the actual script needs to be written, cast and crew hired, the film needs to actually be shot, and then off to the theaters. Shatterglass Films, who has the option on the movie has a lot of work ahead of them, but the proof-of-concept trailer is a good start in the right direction.
