Victor Stone, the Teen Titan founding member of the Justice League known as Cyborg has been around for a very long time. For much of those 3-plus decades, he was mostly an enhanced man, with super-strength and gadgetry being his primary abilities. Since his upgrade to JLA in 2011, Vic has been primarily the team’s computer guy, and as of the latest trailer for ‘Justice League‘, is now a flying armored powerhouse computer guy. (Given the lack of Superman and Green Lantern, I supposed this movie needs another flying type to hang with Wonder Woman, though.) Still, the sight of a flying Cyborg is an odd one for me, leading us to today’s cybernetically enhanced query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) doesn’t *MIND* Vic having built-in rockets, exactly, but I’m still not sure it’s really necessary, especially with the MCU Iron Man comparisons to be had, asking: Flying Cyborg: Yea or Nay?

Nay. I would prefer something like limited teleportation via Boom Tube technology. It would suit him well.
I don’t have an issue with it, exactly, as I figure having cybernetic enhancements might also include some sort of rocket jets or an anti-gravity device or something, but it is something I would prefer to see used sparingly. It isn’t hard to imagine that it might quickly drain energy reserves compared to just using cybernetic augmented strength or scanning or low-level energy blasts or other abilities, so I don’t see an issue if it is used in moderation. But if he’s flying all the time, that just feels a bit off to me.
Nay it seemed to much like iron man especially with the helmet that popped up.
