9) STING


An energy drink from Pepsico, Sting is available in multiple unusual flavors.  Actually, they’re probably “flavours,” as the drink was introduced in Nepal and doesn’t seem to have ever been available in my neck of the woods.  Equally obscure, Ronald Sweet used his mastery of micro-electronics to battle Ray Palmer and occasionally the Suicide Squad (which makes more sense in 80s comics context, I promise.)  Indeed, Palmer himself once faked his own death and hid in plain sight AS the black and yellow villain.

Steve Borden and Gordon Sumner reputedly did NOT approve…
