[Television] New Ben 10 series launches in April

BEN 10 IS COMING BACK EVERYONE!

The Cartoon Network made the announcement yesterday, when it released this teaser.

The new Ben 10 introduces fun loving, 10-year-old, Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max as they travel the country during summer vacation. Once Ben finds the Omnitrix, a mysterious watch that transforms him into 10 different heroic aliens, a world of extraterrestrial superpowers opens up to him.

Tara Strong is Ben Tennyson, Montse Hernandez is Gwen, and David Kaye voices Grampa Max.

Be on the lookout for Ben 10’s return on April 10 on Cartoon Network.

I was a little frustrated when they announced this ages ago as I thought a reboot so soon seemed rather odd. I’m willing to give it a chance, but I’m disappointed that we’re going back to the beginning rather than continuing on with the older Ben, Gwen and Kevin, or even going further forward to the time of Ken 10 (Ben’s son in a possible future).
