[Movies] Ryan Gosling to produce adaptation of The Underwater Welder

IDW Entertainment has announced Jeff Lemire’s The Underwater Welder is getting a film adaptation.

Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, and Anonymous Content will produce the film.

In The Underwater Welder, a New York Times bestseller, a man in the dangerous profession of underwater welding has a supernatural encounter at the bottom of the sea.

Those of us who have read the graphic novel have nothing but positive things to say about the book, and it will be interesting to see how the graphic novel is adapted for the big screen.

As this is a first announcement about the film, no other information regarding release date has been announced.
