Hasbro has announced it is teaming with Machinima to bring the final two chapters of the Transformers Animated Series to fans around the world.

The first sequel, The Titans Return, will take the action of the series to new “heights,” and feature return appearances from many fan-favorite Transformers characters as well as introduce a new set of Autobots and Decepticons. Set in the period following the excitement of The Combiner Wars, the depleted forces of Cybertron and a broken Council of Worlds must now face-off against a new threat that is larger than anything that has come before.

So there you go. Machinima is a YouTube network founded in January 200, but is now owned by Warner Bros. Digital Networks.

  1. Not really looking forward to these (though I have to watch because I have a Transformers podcast). Did you see the first one? Horrible story pacing, bad sound in a few parts, and the animation wasn’t very smooth. I hope these creators watch CW Seed’s Vixen series to see how a series of 5-7 minute episodes can be done well.
