Are you playing Mansions of Madness Second Edition? The app driven board game has been a big seller, and Fantasy Flight Games has announced the first full expansion will arrive in early 2017.

If you are wondering about those other two sets that were released in October, the Suppressed Memories and Recurring Nightmares sets are 2.0 versions of the original Mansions of Madness expansions that are fully tweaked to work with the new release.

Beyond the Threshold features two new investigators, one new monster type (Thralls) and more cards and tokens to expand the rooms of the game.

The new components introduce new gameplay elements and unique insanity effects for players who are unable to bear the terror. The expansion also adds two new scenarios to the game: The Gates of Silverwood Manor and Vengeful Impulses.

You will need Mansions of Madness 2.0 and the free app to play this expansion, which is designed for 1 to 5 players. Beyond the Threshold is set to arrive in the first part of 2017 and will have a price tag of $39.95.
