According to ReedPOP Senior Vice President Lance Fensterman, the New York Comic sold at least 185,000 tickets for the even that wrapped on Sunday.
According to the show organizers that number represents an increase of 11% from last year’s 167,000 attendees. Still, with the number of attendees, I did see a number of people online comment that the show seemed a lot less chaotic than in year’s past.
