[Television] Seg-El has been cast for SyFy’s Krypton

If you have been dying for any and all news about the upcoming SyFy series, Krypton, chances are you’ve found it on other sites first. But, not to be left all the way behind, we are here to reveal that Seg-El has been found!

Variety is reporting that British actor Cameron Cuffe has been cast as Seg-El, an ancestor of Kal-El (aka Superman, you guys).

Seg-El is the scion of the once prosperous El family and is blessed with an intuitive brilliance for all things technical. He is now living in Krypton’s lowest caste after his family was stripped of its rank.

Thank goodness the family’s last name wasn’t Wei.

Krypton, from David S. Goyer, has been in development for quite some time at SyFy, and looks like it is finally ready to shoot the pilot.
