Image comics announced Jonathan Hickman will write and draw a new ongoing series, Frontier, beginning in November.

This is the first time in eight years that Hickman has tackled both duties on a comic.

“I’m so excited about this book,” said Hickman. “It’s been a long time coming, and I’m so glad I’m a working cartoonist again. I really think people are going to get a kick out of both what Frontier looks like and where the story takes them. I can’t wait!”

Frontier is describe as being in the same vein as Star Trek, but will explore utopia lost, and how humanity might get it back.
