Next week, Lion Forge Comics Managing Editor Beth Scorzato will be a featured panelist at the Ask and Editor panel at the Long Beach Comic Con.

What does a managing editor do? Scorzato remarked, “Managing Editor is often a mystery position to a lot of aspiring creators, so I’m excited for the opportunity to share some insight into the operations side of comics with LBCC attendees.”

Saturday September 17th

scorzato11:30a.m. – 12:30p.m.: #MakeComics: Ask An Editor
Do you have a burning question that only a comics editor can answer? How do I break in? What does an editor do? Are you doing portfolio reviews? All these questions answered plus more with editors Vince Hernandez (Aspen), Beth Scorzato (Lion Forge), Shannon Eric Denton (Wildstorm) and Barbara Kesel (CrossGen).

Location: Creator Lab, S5

If you are going to the Long Beach Comic-Con (and you should if you are in the area), this looks to be a very informative panel to check out.
