2) THE LEAPER
A circus acrobat by trade, Olaf Bjornson joined The Blackhawks during World War II, becoming an integral part of their multinational aviation force. By 1968, though, the Blackhawks were worried that they were anachronisms in modern society, and chose to adopt costumed identities like the Justice League Of America. Thanks to the work of a Swedish super-scientist, Olaf donned a suit of “super-rubber”, enhancing his acrobatic prowess to superhuman levels and allowing him to leap great distances. The costumed hero phase was short-lived for the Blackhawks, but we’ll always have our Hero History…
