No one likes to see their two favorite people in the whole world fight, but just like peanut butter and chocolate, heroes fighting heroes seems to be the name of the game these days. Which brings us to today’s fateful fisticuffs fretting – Blue Beetle or Booster Gold?

Blue_Beetle_LAWBlue Beetle (Ted Kord)
Theodore Stephen “Ted” Kord is the second Blue Beetle, a superhero who was originally published by Charlton Comics and later picked up by DC Comics. This version of the character was created by Steve Ditko and first appeared as a back-up feature in Captain Atom #83 (November 1966), with Gary Friedrich scripting from Ditko’s conception and plot.

Booster_Gold_(Dan_Jurgens)Booster Gold (Michael Jon Carter)
Booster Gold is a fictional character and dc comics superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Dan Jurgens, the character first appeared in Booster Gold #1 (February 1986) and has been a member of the Justice League. The character is initially depicted as a glory-seeking showboat from the future, using knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology to stage high-publicity heroics. Booster develops over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies to become a true hero weighed down by the reputation he created for himself.

Why are you making my sons fight?!

Okay, if I HAVE to pick one, I’d pick Booster Gold. He has a more layered background (which his motives being a mix of redemption & self-serving greed), and he never had a story done by Steve Ditko where he went on & on about how modern art was destroying society. Sorry, Ted.

1st of, you guys are evil, mean, poopy-heads to have them fight each other!

    Pardon my French…

But in all seriousness, Ted would win, simply because Booster respects the guy too much to beat him.

Unless the winner gets chosen as some sort of champion with a 100% chance of death, then Booster will lie, cheat and steal his way to victory if necessary to keep Ted alive.

He failed to save him once, he won’t again, ever! Okay no I have to go cry for a bit…

Sadly, if I’m forced to pick, Blue Beetle would win. Booster’s tech is better, but Blue is smarter, stronger, faster and pretty much superior in every quantifiable way. Ted Kord is basically a kinder, gentler version of a merger of Batman and Spiderman.

Who would lose in this fight? The universe. How dare you sir. How dare you.

With those two, I could see beer pong or quarters, maybe thumb wrestling.

They will never fight for real.

    I abstain.
