[SDCC’16] Another Big Trouble in Little China game is on its way!

Oh happy day! First we learned Legendary Big Trouble in Little China was going to grace our gaming table, and now we learn that BOOM! Studios is teaming with Everything Epic, Flipside Design Studio, and 20th Century Fox to bring Big Trouble in Little China the Game, too!

“It’s been an absolute joy to continue the adventures of Jack Burton and the Pork-Chop Express in BOOM!’s Big Trouble in Little China comic for the past two years. This year, just in time for the 30th Anniversary, we added The Official Making of Big Trouble in Little China, The Official Art of Big Trouble in Little China, a crossover with Escape from New York, and an illustrated novel—Big Trouble in Mother Russia—to the mix. The opportunity to continue expand the world of Big Trouble in Little China and dive into the exciting world of board games with superb partners like Everything Epic and Flipside is pure icing on the cake!” said BOOM! Studios President of Publishing & Marketing Filip Sablik.

Here is what we know so far:

  • Big Trouble in Little China the Game is a cooperative, cinematic game that will include miniatures!
  • It looks like the game is following the plot of the movie – rescue the kidnapped heroines, defeat Lo Pan, shake the heavens, etc. etc.
  • Up to six players can play through the various locations from the movie.

Oh… my… gosh… I want this game now!

While we probably won’t hear much about the game at the San Diego Comic-Con, BOOM! Studios tells us that more information will be coming at Gen Con in August.
