Star Trek Beyond is not even in theaters yet, but buzz is so high that Paramount Pictures has announced a fourth film will be upon us soon!

According to Variety, the new film will have Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk crossing paths with his father – a man he never had a chance to meet (because (SPOILER) he died in the first film moments after his birth). Chris Hemsworth, who played George Kirk in the first movie will reprise his roll.

There is no release date, or director announced, but J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay will write the screenplay.

Sounds like we are going to get some time travel shenanigans! Are you ready for more Trek?
