Executive Producer Alex Kreisberg has announced they have found their Man of Steel for the second season of Supergirl for The CW.

Teen Wolf alum Tyler Hoechlin has been tapped to play Superman/Clark Kent for the sophomore season of Supergirl.

“Greg and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg in a statement. “We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.”

Hopefully, Tyler will shave for the role, and since I have not seen him on Teen Wolf, or in Everybody Wants Some, I will put my faith in Kreisberg and Berlanti that they’ve picked the best person for the job.

He’s good in Teen Wolf, although personally I always saw him a young Batman more than Superman. He also plays the kid in Road to Perdition.
