I do love Titanfall, but I’m not super great at team combat (I blow up a lot… like, A LOT), and with the E3 announcement of Titanfall 2 and the single player story mode, I am more interested in the game than ever before.

I just hope the story makes more sense than the last campaign story that left open a lot of questions.

In multiplayer, Titanfall 2 delivers best-in-class shooter gameplay backed by more depth and variety including new Titans – each with their own unique abilities, a deeper set of Pilot abilities, an expanded arsenal of weapons, more customization options, and a robust progression system.

In the single player campaign, Titanfall 2 explores the unique bond between man and machine as players step on to The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming a Pilot. Stranded behind IMC enemy lines, and against overwhelming odds, you must team up with a veteran Vanguard-class Titan and uphold a mission you were never meant to carry out.

Are you onboard for this installment, or are you planning on sitting out?

I’m ever the more amazed by the notion that a “single-player” mode is an add-on feature in this day and age. People constantly decry that “You can’t have a good single-player AND a good multiplayer mode! They steal development time from one another!” Apparently having forgotten about the existence of the Halo franchise in general. Or Gears of War. Or Starcraft.
