Marvel’s latest crossover schmegeggi, Civil War II kicked off this week, and a couple of shocking moments have put Captain Marvel and Iron Man at odds. Carol wants to use a new power to change the bad things that might happen, while Iron Man is willing to accept that bad things might happen and isn’t willing to damage a possible future to fix them. This, by the way, is entirely counter to his stance in the previous Secret War, and also the decision to exile one of his best friends to space just in case the Hulk became a danger, but that’s not important right now. Instead, we’re here to look at the central crux of this new conflict, leading to today’s inconsistent query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would probably want the chance to Sam Beckett things, if I could, asking: Where do you fall on Civil War II’s defining question: Protect The Future or Change The Future?
