Afraid I can’t have my cake and eat it too on this one.

For movies I’m not really looking forward to, sure! Release immediately, I won’t care about spoilers, and hey, you might get me interested in a movie I was gonna skip.

For movies I do want to watch, wait to release it. I’m going to watch it anyways, so I’d rather hear your opinions after I watch it.

See the issue here? Different people have different tastes, so it’d be kinda awkward to have you guys deferring to my opinion of all things, especially when I’m not really a movie buff. :P

  2. I don’t really have a preference on upload dates, I would say for the big tentpole releases (like Civil War) I’m more interested in hearing the podcast on Friday or the weekend of release since I too am probably seeing it opening night. For smaller movies, like Nice Guys, I’ll see the film some point in the first week or two but I’m not losing sleep over the podcast not up yet. If you did happen to put a podcast up for a new release and I haven’t had time to see the film yet, I’ll just go back and listen to it after I watch the film so I’m not spoiled on it. I’ve always approached it this way, and see no reason to withhold podcasts for time’s sake.

So, to sum up, I say just do whatever you all want to do. I’ll still keep listening :)
