In September, Archie Comics brings in Ryan North and Derek Charm to present their take on Jughead and Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the pages of Jughead #9.

In the new world of Archie, Sabrina the Teenage Witch has yet to be introduced, but North and Charm will address that in the issue.

“Sabrina’s interesting because she’s literally magic.  She is an actual witch in a world where witchcraft isn’t known to be a real thing, and she’s got this edge to her that you don’t often see in Riverdale,” said North on the addition of Sabrina to the series.

This does mean that Chip Zdarsky and Erica Henderson are off the series, which may be a concern for fans who jumped on board initially to see what antics Zdarsky would bring to the character.
