Don’t mess with time, or it will come back and kill you… or so our protagonists think in the indie film, Time Lapse.

  1. Hurrah, a Zac on Film with a film I’ve seen.
Time Lapse is one of the better time travel movies I’ve seen recently, cleverly done in the way it works within it’s very limited budget. I look forward to hearing what the team think of it.

  2. On the subject of good time travel films, one of favorites is “The Girl who Lept through Time”. Really good.

  3. Just saw Time Lapse and heard your podcast. Perhaps not in that order… ;-)
Given the actions of Callie, I was wondering if this was intended to be a comment on the nature of superstition, faith, and religion.

One thing that I noticed but didn’t hear you comment on might be important. Not sure. In the scene where Callie and Jasper kiss for the picture and Finn is painting he realizes what is “missing” in the picture. They make a close up of the clock and he’s supposed to be paying attention to the time so that they will stop kissing after the “future picture” is taken. He actually starts painting the numbers into the painting that do not show up in the picture before 8 o’clock. That is where things start going down hill and spiraling out of control just like the painting itself. So time was changed at that moment and after that everyone involved just fall apart. So in my opinion the concept of “don’t mess with time” holds true.
