From the founding members of the Justice League to the legendary samurai to the deadly sins, the number seven holds great significance in fiction. Of course, Kurosawa’s samurai also led to the cowboy remake, featuring an array of notable cowboys including Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson, which I have to say is a very enjoyable film. Of course, I’ve long had a pet theory that the All-New X-Men killed off Thunderbird because 8 heroes is one too many for optimal storytelling, as proven by the 7 Soldiers Of Victory, leading us to today’s Mersenne prime query…
