It’s been the subject of speculation for months, and now according to Variety, Ben Affleck with direct himself in a stand alone Batman film.

As mentioned last week, Warner Bros. announced two untitled DC Comic movies scheduled for October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019. With Ben Affleck’s popularity in Batman v Superman, and that there is a rumor that the script is already finished, I expect we’ll see Batman fill the earlier slot.

The announcement that Affleck will direct and star in a stand alone Batman film was made by Warner Bros. chief, Kevin Tsujihara during Tuesday’s presentation at CinemaCon.

I have faith that Affleck could do the best Batman movie to date. However, its not all in his hands.
