(not that I wasn’t sold before. but, you know.)
There are parts that were predictable and real hokey, but I gotta admit, the ghost vomit is CLASSIC. And points for an Exorcist reference. I’m not sure if it’ll be good, but I’m totally down for a ticket.
I’m not sold.
The whole thing that made the original work is that they were out to make money, not ‘help people’. The were undeserving heroes put into the middle of a shit storm. I think the only character that will work to this is Patty.
The comedic style and timing in this seems off too. I hoping it’s just a disappointing trailer, but I’m not holding my breath.
Oh God… Dan Akroyd’s sanity must be spinning in it’s grave.
Three problems I see with this:
– It’s a reboot of a successful franchise, which I hate on principle, seriously they couldn’t fit a tie-in to at least acknowledge the awesome that was the original?
– It’s has no funny actors, seriously these actresses are, well not funny, at all…
– The villain is a human, making this no better then one of the Scooby Do movies.
Unless this is just a really, really badly done trailer I predict an epic fail.
