Great honest review! Thanks for “biting the bullet” and doing a review on this HUGE set.
We do it all for you!
Here are the two things you mentioned that convinced me to NOT buy this set:
1) the “unfinished” backside
2) the Ecto 1 doesn’t fit inside
I could probably live with #1 but #2 is a really lame over sight. For $350, I expected more from Lego. I’m sure most collectors would have paid $400 for the set if it fixed both of these issues.
I look forward to your next review.
Stephen, have you spent any time playing the Lego Dimension game?
There is a new Ecto-1 set arriving in July as part of the new Ghostbusters movie… thought it looks to be the same size as the current one, it may fit all the way in.
No I have not had a chance yet. The kids are too busy playing LEGO Avengers and LEGO Batman games on the Xbox One.
Oh sure, blame the kids… Always their fault, isn’t it?
No, I’m teasing, I know how that is. Have a few games I got near the end of 2015 that I still haven’t played because someone else is often using the console and by the time it is free I don’t feel like putting the time in to get everything started that day.
